Inbindable Volume
VIVID is delighted to announce details of the first UK tour of new work by artists Karin Kihlberg & Reuben Henry.
Supported by the National Lottery through Arts Council England, Birmingham Cultural Partnership and The Henry Moore Foundation, this touring programme of new works is produced by VIVID and developed in collaboration with Danielle Arnaud and ArtSway.
Following the residency and exhibition at VIVID, from 29 July – 21 August 2010, Inbindable Volume and additional new works, commissioned with our touring partners, will tour to Danielle Arnaud, London (17 September to 24 October 2010), Galleri Box (26 February - 27 March 2011) and ArtSway, Hampshire (16 April to 12 June 2011).
Expressions of interest from galleries and venues interested in colaborating with the artists to present works as part of the tour from July 2011 onwards are welcomed; please contact yasmeen@vivid.org.uk to discuss options and costs and receive further details.
Karin Kihlberg (SE) and Reuben Henry (UK) have been collaborating since 2004. Using an interdisciplinary approach their work explores how documentation, representation and narratives are utilized by contemporary cultures as routes to comprehend and consume the contemporary paradigm.
